He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Walter Mortenson and Ruth Hunt Mortenson; his granddaughter Ann Thompson; his grandparents, Lars Mortenson (Louis) and Emma Laffin; his daughter Mary; his uncle John; his cousins, Korea, Lloyd, Clifford, Rodney, Dennis, Ronald, Charles, Clark, Louis, Terry, Tom, Robert, Jim, Jack, Neal and Perry; his former wife Lois Watter; his wife Florence Chrudimsky Mortenson; his siblings, Allan Mortenson and Rosemary Neely; and his nieces, Mary Schmoll and Linda Zimmerman.
They married in 1892 with 16 children being born to them with three dying in the pandemic of those days.
In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations to be made to the Hogarty Presbyterian Memorial Fund or a charity of your choice in Earl's memory.
