He was predeceased by: his mother Judy Heikkinen (Solimon). He is survived by: his father Duane Heikkinen (Judith) of Phelps; his girlfriend Monica Smith of Antigo; his children, Katie Waswick (Timothy) of Mosinee and Duane "Buddy" Heikkinen, III; his sister Laura Burke (Christopher) of West Yellowstone, Montana; and his grandmother Mabel Heikkenin of Phelps. He is also survived by four grandchildren.
