She was predeceased by: her parents, Newton Powell and Eva Powell (Jones); her husband George O'Meara; her son Scott Smith; and her siblings, Delcia Robinson, Lola Olson, Martha "Marty" Kelpsas, Clifford, Kenneth, James, Tom, Johnny and Gary Powell.

She is survived by: her daughter Brenda Wiedenhoft (Steve); her grandsons, Randy Smith (Angie), Scott Smith (Jennifer) and Gary Smith (Cee); and her sister Donna LaPage. She is also survived by 6 great grandchildren.
