We bid farewell to Carol Brooks in Antigo, Wisconsin, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on May 26, 2024 at the age of 70. Carol touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. As Carol departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Carol may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Carol leaves behind.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Dean Harms and Laurine Harms (Amfahr); and her sister Nancy Heuertz. She is survived by: her husband Ken; her children, Steve Brooks (Nichole) of Hartland, Laura Brooks of Milwaukee and Ryan Brooks (Claire) of Wausau; and her grandchildren, Lily, Collin, Bridget and Connor.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you spend time on the water with your families this summer and leave the dishes for later.
