She was predeceased by: her parents, William Childs and Ruth Baker Childs; her spouse Glenn Risdon; her children, Robert "Bobby" Wayne Risdon and Glenda Sue Risdon; and her siblings, Henry, LaVern Gray, Virginia "Jenny" Irish, Eva Messer, Bonnie Ulman and Peggy Taggart.
She is survived by: her daughters, Mary Steinfest (Roger) of Chittenango, NY and Beth Eacret (Ralph) of Apex, NC; her grandchildren, Lisa Steinfest, Clayton Steinfest (Michelle) and Robert Eacret (Megan); and her great grandchildren, Colton Steinfest, William and Audrey Eacret. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Alma's memory can be made to the Macular Degeneration Foundation.
