He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Soper and Eva Soper (Wurtinger); his wife Julia Hotchkiss; his granddaughter Amanda; and his siblings, Johnny, Jim, Harry Jr. "Buck", Tom and Dorothy.
He is survived by: his friend Waupaca; his children, Rick Soper (Terri), Anita Thompson (Bill) and Jeff Soper (Maureen); and his grandchildren, Nikki, Julia, Cassie and Cody. He is also survived by eight great grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
