He was predeceased by: his parents, Felix Kenowski and Martha Kenowski (Werowinski); his wives, Delores Knitter and Phyllis Zaruba of Amherst; and his siblings, Ambrose, Gregory, Tekla (Prutz) and Evelyn (Loecher).
He is survived by: his siblings, Bernice Laskowski and Henry Kenowski (Adeline); and his children, Rita Kropidlowski (Paul), Audrey Roberts (David), Kurt Kenowski, Maureen Mason, Brenda Kenowski, Kenneth Kenowski and Alan Kenowski. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
