She was predeceased by: her father Wayne "Casey" Jones; and her great grandchild Evelyn. She is survived by: her mother Joy Jones of Bethany Home; her children, Roger Jr., Michael and Merry; her grandchildren, Sam, Macy (Neenah) and Ian (Amherst); her great grandchildren, Chloe and Jase; her siblings, Betty (John Olson), Jackie and Phil; and also, Roger and Amherst. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

The family was very grateful to be able to be with Merna until the end, despite the COVID-19 pandemic.
