As we bid adieu to Marie's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Marie has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, David Smith and Lillian Smith (Bass). She is survived by: her husband Ernest Dukquits of Amherst, WI; her daughter Lynette Dukquits of Sturevant, WI; her grandson Zachary Dukquits (Nicole) of Mt. Pleasant, WI; and her sister Dorothy Rudd of Winnipeg Canada.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Jungers-Holly Funeral Home (262 S Main St, Amherst, WI 54406).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
