She was predeceased by: her parents, George Helbach and Merle Helbach (Adams); her husband Donald Shulfer of Patrick's Catholic Church; her daughter Mary Henning; her son-in-law Kurt Henning; and her siblings, Harold, Neva, Frederick, Joseph "Charles", James, Mary Ellen, Marcia and Dave.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Shulfer (Veronica), Gary Shulfer (Michelle) and Elizabeth Slowinski (Kory Braatz); her brother Robert Helbach; her sisters-in-law, Helen of Lanark, WI and Betty Helbach; and her grandchildren, Rachael Henning, Lisa Henning (Tony Bartley), Rebekah Sheets (Morgan), Theresa, Tim Shulfer, Zachary Shulfer, Philip and Carson Slowinski.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, April 5th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM. A rosary was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 7:30 PM at the Jungers-Holly Funeral Home (262 S Main St, Amherst, WI 54406). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. James Catholic Church (453 S Main St, Amherst, WI 54406).
