He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Reinhardt and Edith Reinhardt (Miller); and his brothers, Roy, Howard and Carl.

He is survived by: his wife Bernice Stenerson; and his daughters, Amherst, Shirley Dukershein (Larry), Sharon Hansen (Allen), Judy Mansavage (Jere) and Connie Behrend (Dale). He is also survived by eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
