He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Knutson and Lorinda Knutson (Strohbeen). He is survived by: his children, Steven Knutson and Lori Denny (Paul); his grandchildren, David Knutson, Roger Knutson (Vanessa), Mary Carter (James), Morgan Clemenson (Bryson) and John Denny; his great grandchildren, Cleo, Maeve Clemenson, James Carter IV and Aiden David Carter; and his sister-in-law Bonnie Knutson. He is also survived by many nephews and nieces, great nephews and nieces, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Redeemer Lutheran Church (600 Keller Ave S, Amery, WI 54001). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
