Richard Henry Grandt Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Richard Henry Grandt of Amery, Wisconsin, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 21, 2024 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George H. Grandt and Elsie Grandt (Rowoldt); and his siblings, Lawrence, George, Harold, LaVerne Anderson, Irene Pevonka and Evelyn.
He is survived by: his wife Rose M. Dempsey; his children, Tom Grandt (Patsy) of New Richmond, WI, Tammy Huth (Steve) of Janesville, WI and Tina Honigschmidt (Tim) of Menasha, WI; his grandchildren, Elizabeth Daniel (Ben) of Greendale, WI, Kimberly Grandt (Bill Welker) of New Richmond, WI, Michael Huth of Grass Valley, CA and Kelly Stelter (Jon) of Dowagiac, MI; his great grandchildren, Aiden, Hailey, Railyn, Laina, Saidee Daniel of Greendale and Cora Welker of New Richmond; his brother Ralph of Davis, IL; and his sisters-in-law, Cathy Garvin of Janesville, WI and Donna Lee of New Holstein, WI. He is also survived by numerous loving nephews, nieces and friends.
Memorials to the family will be used to establish a family scholarship fund for nontraditional students who want to improve their life by pursuing a higher education program later in life.
