He was predeceased by: his parents, Perry Emerson and Hazel Emerson (Christenson); and his father-in-law Kerwin Erickson. He is survived by: his wife Ardys Erickson; his children, Shelly McNitt (Richard) and Scott Emerson (Tracy); his grandchildren, Abby (Derreck Jones), Brendan McNitt, Lexi and Trinity Emerson; his brothers, Darrell Emerson (Darlene) and Dale Emerson (Patti); his mother-in-law Helen Erickson; and his sister-in-law Annette Peterson (Barry). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
