Douglas James Drake Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Douglas James Drake of Amery, Wisconsin, who passed away on April 6, 2025, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Douglas James farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Douglas James is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Madison Drake and Anita Jeanne Page Drake; and his brother David Page Drake. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Lynn Drake; his children, Hillary (Nick) and Tyler (Kathryn); and his granddaughters, Nora and Lily.
