He was predeceased by: his parents, Ethelyn Bottolfson and Lawrence Bottolfson; his sister Cynthia; his parents-in-law, Emil and Helen Beckon; his siblings-in-law, Karen Schrock, Donald Schrock and Karen Bottolfson; and his granddaughter Ashley.

He is survived by: his wife Barb; his children, Kim Montgomery (Todd) and Mike; his grandsons, Tyler Montgomery (Sarah), Kyle Montgomery (Erika) and Nate Bottolfson (Kenzi); his great grandchildren, Karson Bottolfson, Wesley Montgomery and Parker Bottolfson; and his siblings, Gary Bottolfson, Jane Warren (Jeff) and Janice Loula (Scott). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
