He was predeceased by: his parents, George Michaelson and Olga Michaelson (Richardson); his sister Juanita; his brother-in-law Robert Holin; and his stepdaughter Kandy Karuschak.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth (Zellmar Dietrich); his siblings, David Michaelson (Joan) and Esther Haselius (Harry); and his stepchildren, Kathy Snelling (Gary) and Ed Dietrich (Lisa). He is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and cousins.
