He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Porter and Helen Porter; his siblings, Grace, Selma, Laura Jean, Paul and David; his sons, Gary Porter and Ken Porter; and his granddaughter Britta Larson.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley; his children, Rick Porter, Roger Porter and Cheryl Schrofe; his stepsons, Scott Larson (Patti), Bruce Larson (Dianne) and Brad Larson (Cheryl); and his great great grandchildren, Atlas, Brinleigh and Chloe King. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren.
