She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Leo Wisotzke and Marie Wisotzke; her husband Doug Smith; her children, Craig Smith (Patti) of Altoona and Kelly Peterson (Joel Jack) of Nashville, TN.; her siblings, Janice Frye (Ray) of Eau Claire, Lori Hestekin (Mike) of Eau Claire and Thomas Wisotzke (Judy) of Janesville, WI.; her grandchildren, Riley Smith, Austin Smith, Taylor Peterson (Danielle), Connor Peterson and Kacie Peterson; and her great grandchildren, Gabriel Smith, Ayla Smith and Jameson Smith.

In lieu of flowers the family will be accepting donations to be distributed to Joan's favorite charities.
