She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernon Shafer and Marietta Shafer (Spores); her siblings, Leroy, Dennis, Bruce, David, Mike, Shirley and Bonnie; her son James Rasmussen; her grandson Corey Rasmussen; her son-in-law Daryl Berg; and her son Leonard Rasmussen.
She is survived by: her pet Lexi; her children, Marie Pagenkopf (Jeff), Sheri Sonnentag (Pat), Joyce Berg and Andy Rasmussen (Jolene); her siblings, Linda Baugher (Bruce) and Joe Shafer (Durene); and her great grandchild Tyler Smith. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren; twenty-eight great-grandchildren.
