With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Irene M. Schulke of Almond, Wisconsin, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Irene left this world on April 6, 2025 at the age of 88, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Borchert and Ruth Borchert; her husband Harlyn Schulke of Paul's Lutheran Church; her sister Lorraine Schulke (Harvey); her siblings-in-law, Carol Borchert, Eugene Nassen and Eugene Heinz; and her nephews, John Lee Borchert and Darren Schulke.
She is survived by: her sons, Richard Schulke of Almond and Kenneth Schulke (Laurie) of Almond; her grandchildren, Lindsay Smith (Jeremy) of Greenville, Alisha Triepke (Michael) of Kronenwetter, Wesley Schulke (Heather) of Almond, Tyler Schulke (Laura) of St. Paul Park, MN and Dr. Yvonne Witzeling (Cody) of Kronenwetter; her great grandchildren, Ella, Claire Smith, Olivia Triepke, Autumn, Kinley Schulke, Bridget, Fletcher Schulke, Aurora and Barrett Witzeling; and her siblings, Herbert Borchert of Waupaca and Beulah Nassen-Heinz of Appleton. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Paul's Lutheran Church (203 Grant St, Amherst, WI 54406). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
