He was predeceased by: his parents, Ward W. Newby and Bertha Newby (Wenzel); his wife Janice (Teske); his son Carl Newby; and his siblings, Howard Newby (Lyndred), Joyce Parmenter (Kenneth), June Judd (Winston) and Georgia Cook (Bill).
He is survived by: his children, Carmen Pagel (Art), Christine Barden (Robert), Colin Newby (Cindy), Cheryl Smith, Cynthia Brandl (Bill) and Craig Newby (Brenda); his daughter-in-law Jody Newby; his great grandchildren, Dylan (Frankie), Garret, Cole, Breeley Warzynski, JennaMarie Pagel, Meghan Varga, Chase, Wyatt Barden, Izabelle, Parker Losinski, Gracelyn Breitenstein, Ty, Remmy Jacowski, Riley of Washington, Levi, Duke Newby, Connor (Macey Check), Jillian, Aaliyah Newby, Cambria Duchow, Mayce, Kaylee, Colton Drmolka, Ella, Claire Smith, Autumn and Kinley Schulke; and his siblings-in-law, Wayne Teske, Kay Teske, Caryle, Esther Teske, Beatrice, Earl Benjamin and Richard Teske (LaRayne). He is also survived by seventeen grandchildren.
