Lowell August Wohlk Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lowell August Wohlk of Almena, Wisconsin, who passed away on February 5, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, August Wohlk and Mathilda Wohlk (Kunkel); his wife Shirley Wohlk; and his siblings, Violet Hall, Duane Wohlk and Arlo.
He is survived by: his son Vince Wohlk (Michelle) of Almena; his grandchildren, Tyler Wohlk (Molly), Elyse Anderson (Nathan), Derek Wohlk, Jacob Wohlk and Alison Wohlk; his great grandchildren, Parker Wohlk, Charlie Wohlk, Ezra and Nehemiah Anderson; his daughter Amy Hanson (Tim) of Barron; his grandchildren, Alanna Rosen (Kyle), Dylan Hanson (Tessa) and Faith Hanson; his great grandchildren, Brennen Hanson, Kinsley and Ashlynn Rosen; his siblings, Sylvia Frie of Cumberland and LeRoy Wohlk of Cameron; and his brother-in-law Dale Westlund (Kay) of Minong. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, Lowell requested that memorial be gifted to the Barron Area Education Foundation and mailed to PO Box 271 Barron, WI 54812.
