He was predeceased by: his parents, Engnard Peterson and Ida Elise Peterson (Severson); his former wife Janice Basacker of Eau Claire; and his siblings, Leslie, Robert, Russell Peterson and Joan Simpson.
He is survived by: his children, Lori O'Brien (Patrick) of Comstock, Gay Wilcox (Mike) of Eau Claire, Rodney Peterson of Virginia Beach, VA, Mark Peterson (Gail) of Eau Claire and Brian Peterson (Shauna) of Clear Lake. He is also survived by 16 Grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces and nephews.
