He is survived by: his wife Hazel Merle; his children, Greg Merle (Sharon) of Bradenton, FL, Susan Merle of Waldport, OR and Kim Merle of Aurora, CO; and his siblings, Raymond Merle (Bonnie) and Janet Merle. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
