It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Vernon Martzke of Alma, Wisconsin, born in Shawano, Wisconsin, who passed away on September 22, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Martzke and Alma Martzke (Lindner); his brothers, Kenneth, Willard and Eldor; and his grandson Ryan Schneider.
He is survived by: his wife RoseMary Hicks; his children, Doug Martzke (Mary Kaye) of Green Bay, Kristin Schneider (Brent) of Andover, MN, Jeff Martzke (Nikki) of Nelson, BC and Lisa Deemer (Bruce) of Marshfield; his grandchildren, Erica Novak (Johnathan), Brandon Martzke (Lindsey), Jason Schneider, Amelia, Willem Martzke, Emily Goeppinger (Paul Ojambo) and Mariah Goeppinger; his great grandchildren, Carter, Emmett Novak, Eve and Rhett Martzke; and his sisters-in-law, Norma Martzke and Beverly Hicks. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
Due to COVID-19, the family respectfully asks all in attendance wear masks, and encourages social distancing.
