He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Grotjahn and Frances Grotjahn (Gross); his wife Ruby E. Doebbert; his son Wayne; and his brothers, Orrin, Duane and David Grotjahn.
He is survived by: his children, Karen Lewis (Montie), Joan Grotjahn, Kevin Grotjahn and Bruce Grotjahn; his grandson Tyler Lewis; and his siblings, Ivan Grotjahn and Gladys Severson. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
