It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Evelyn Marie Christensen of Alma, Wisconsin, born in Des Moines, Iowa, who passed away on June 3, 2021, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald and Doris; and her sister Geri. She is survived by: her children, Kim Gloede (Louis) of Racine and Carl Christensen-Charpentier (Pandora) of St. Paul, Minnesota; her grandchildren, Jessica Berg (Paul) of Saratoga Springs, Jolene Kent of Fort Collins and Brody Christensen of Rochester, Minnesota; her great grandchildren, Bradley, Alexandra Madsen, Matix, Hawken, Lullaby and Solace Berg; her brother-in-law Merlin Humpal of Des Moines, Iowa; and also, Alma Rincón, Doctors Paul Durbin and Karen Murillo. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other relatives; and many very special friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations to the American Association of University Women, Racine Branch (Racine AAUW) or Olympia Brown Unitarian-Universalist Church Endowment Fund.
