She was predeceased by: her parents, Loren Hilgert and Inez Hilgert (Bielefeldt); her husband Richard Dienger; and her nephews, Loren Newton, Randy Dienger and Dale Dienger.

She is survived by: her children, Bruce (Betty) of St. Charles, MN, Sandra Lund (Alan) of Stanchfield, MN and Maxine Luchsinger (John) of Ellsworth, WI; her grandchildren, Christopher, Shane, Kyle, Brett, Brandon and Lauren; and her sisters, Dolly Hanson (John) and Lori Newton (James).
