He was predeceased by: his adoptive father James Bartlein; and his sister Rebecca. He is survived by: his father James G; his stepmother Susan; his brother Jeff Bartlein (Kimberley Vollmer); his children, Micah, Carter and Octavia; his stepsiblings, Heather Jurgenson (Jon), Jeffrey Kunkel (Sarah) and Molly Kunkel; and his aunts, Judy, Bebe and Debbie. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
