She was predeceased by: her parents, Mathias Bank and Anna Bank (Prokupek); her parents-in-law, Frank, Elizabeth Novak (Kersten), Michael and Helen Dier (Feuerstein); her stepfather George Liska; and her siblings, Mary Walter Sell, Madeline Larson (Raymond), Myrtle Haack (Arthur), Eleanora Seidl, Eli, Mathias, John and Edward Bank.
She is survived by: her husband Robert Novak; her children, Richard Novak (Lorelee) of Lincoln, NE and Joyce Engler (Thomas); and her grandchildren, Monica Merriman (Ray) of Las Vegas, NV, Andrew Novak (Carrie) of Las Vegas, NV, Matthew Novak (Stefanie Pearlman) of Las Vegas, NV, Mitchell Novak (Melanie) of Las Vegas, NV, Jonathan Engler (Jamie) of Las Vegas, NV, Jeffery Engler (Desiree) of Las Vegas, NV and Victoria Waked of Las Vegas, NV. She is also survived by 14 great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made out the St. Mary Parish or the Algoma Public Library.
