He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph T. Walag and Mary A. Walag; and his siblings, Elizabeth Majeski (Frank), Martha Kaplita (Joseph), Stanley Walag (Rose), John, Louis and Alexander Walag.
He is survived by: his daughter Jane Button (William); his wife Cora; his son Joseph W. Walag (Carol); his grandchildren, Sarah Hansen (Adam) of Pewaukee, WI, Olivia Button, Carl John Walag, Jennifer Hedgers (Jared), Stephanie Dunaychuk (Vyecheslav), Joseph N. Walag (Olga) and Brian A. Walag; and his great grandchildren, Yuna, Jennifer, Eric Walag, Alizavyetta, Simeon, Konstantin, Lev Dunaychuk, Owen, Eleanor, Isaac Hedgers, Alexis, Noela, Joseph Oleg Walag and Gavin Hansen of Waukesha, WI. He is also survived by four nieces, four nephews, three great nieces and five great nephews.
