He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Meadke and Frieda Meadke (Kaye); his wife Marilyn Kroening (Dupont) of Paul's Church; his sisters, Ella Pagel (Marcus), Edna Kruegar (Roger), Mildred Jaeger (Harvey) and Violet Kumbalek (Ernie); and his siblings-in-law, Edward Mueller and Patricia Lohrey (Donald).
He is survived by: his children, Shawn Maedke, Diana Pallex (Rick), Barb Paplham (Jon) and Ricky Kroening (Debra); his grandchildren, Hannah, Hunter Maedke, Tanya Bott (Damian), Elliot Pallex (Tricia), Adam Przybylski, Logan Ann Przybylski, Christopher Przybylski (Stephanie), Gabrielle Paplham, Matthew Kroening (Bryanna), Jennifer Kroening, Zachary Kroening (Judy), Gunner Kroening (Bradley) and Hailey Kroening; his sister Ruby Mueller; and his sister-in-law June Holtz. He is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
