He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Bair and Marie Bair (Longley); his wife Jean Bair; his son Patrick Bair; his great grandchild Deacon Nell; his sons-in-law, Mark Nell, Robert Vlies and Kevin Wade; and his siblings, George, Kenneth, Tom, Joan and Joyce.

He is survived by: his children, Julie Nell, Lynn Vlies, Mike Bair (Sue) and Lisa Wade; and his siblings, Jim Bair, Dennis Bair and Sharon Sariego. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren.
