He was predeceased by: his daughter Bonnie; his brother Francis; and his half-sister Laura. He is survived by: his spouse Bertha Seestadt (Betty); and his sons, Robert "Bob" Charles (Darlene) of Abrams, WI and Blane Charles (Mary).
