She was predeceased by: her parents, Ehrfried Schwahn and Olga Schwahn (Mack); her husband Peter O. Peterson; her grandson Scott Peterson; and her sister Caroline Lorrigan.
She is survived by: her children, Sandra Bell, Dolly Fulton (Dan), Fritz Peterson (Janet), Peter Peterson (Joyce) and Kelly Sampson (Dan); her siblings, Raymond Schwahn, Edward Schwahn (Gail), Milton Schwahn, Linda Schachel (Harold) and Betty Havolovitz (Bob); and her close friend Ray Bender. She is also survived by twenty-two grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
Memorials may be given to St. Peter's Lutheran Church in her name.
