She is survived by: her children, Scott MacKenzie, Patty MacKenzie and Todd DeMeuse; her granddaughter Megan; her great grandchild Daven; her siblings, Curtis Busse and Lois Williamsen; her niece Lori Delain; and her nephew Gary Jennings.

Dorie loved her dogs and would send donations for the welfare of dogs around the area.
