She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Thurman and Beatrice Thurman (Stewart); and her sister Elaine Strote. She is survived by: her children, Jed (Debra) of Orfordville and Debra Malcook (Keith) of Brodhead; her great grandchildren, Tricia Ejzak (Trent), Megan, Carson, Todd Malcook (Beth), Madilyn, Noah, Josh Speich (Nicole), Riley Hendrickson (Brooks), Gracin, Chesney, Justin Speich (Nicole), Blake and Jordyn; her sister Rita Schesser; and her sisters-in-law, Marybelle Speich, Ilene Speich and Ellen Schindler. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to the Orfordville Lutheran Church or Heartland Hospice.
