He was predeceased by: his parents, Wallace Hartmann and Mildred Hartmann; his son James Hartmann; his brothers, Ron Hartmann and Bill Hartmann; his sisters-in-law, Leah Hartmann and Janice Hartmann; his nephew Matthew Strack; and his goddaughter Janelle Wagner.
He is survived by: his wife Pat; his daughters, Julie Hartmann, Jeanette Baier (Gary), Joanne Reseburg (Michael) and Lori Andre (Dan); his friend Sharon Mead (Barney); his grandchildren, Rachel Bauer, Brandon Hartmann (Cara), Kelsey Doucette, Cassie Hood (Kameron) and Megan Reseburg; his great grandchildren, Austin, Ayden, Levi, Josef and Hudson; his brothers, Dale Hartmann (Mariann), Robert Hartmann, Glenn Hartmann and Vilas Hartmann (Kathy); his foster brother Tom Schluechtermann (Judi); and his siblings-in-law, Bev Hartmann, Wil Strack (Darlene), Vince Strack (Judy), Don Strack (Jean) and Ken Strack (Margie). He is also survived by step grandchildren and step great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Suchon Funeral Home (1317 WI-67, Plymouth, WI 53073). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
