She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Koons and Berniece Koons (Kemmeter); her brother William; and her boyfriend Bernard Lofton. She is survived by: her son Michael Koons; her nephew Lloyd Koons; her close friends, Tammy Pieper-Larrabee and Pricilla Fell; and her caregivers, Jennifer Jordan and Jackie Kanarowski. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews.
