He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard B Coon and Hazel Coon (Marshall); his brother Ed; his siblings-in-law, Joy and Don Goetsch; his son-in-law Jeff Mamayak; and his stepdaughter Brenda Quinnell.
He is survived by: his wife Frances Roberts; his daughters, Rita Mamayak and Marty Coon; his stepchildren, Kathie Dye (Jerry), Nancy Macewicz (Claude Hiller) and Butch Roberts (Lori); his sisters, Patsy Goetsch and Catherine Deichl (Tony); and his grandchildren, Kelly Roehl (Kim), Quinn Roehl (Michele), Chad Roehl, Kristy Barr (Kris), Karrie Fritz (Terry), Katie Mallet (Tim), Brett Borck (Megan), KC Houslet (Kristen), Carrie Allard (Scott Young), Jennifer Henson (Zac), Kevin Dye (Amy), Christopher Macewicz, Amy Macewicz, Chad Rhinehart (Karen Perik), Heather Rhinehart and Abigail Quinnell.
