It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lawrence D. Simerson of Adams, Wisconsin, born in Portage, Wisconsin, who passed away on October 31, 2020, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Emery Simerson and Lillian Simerson (Reppine); and his siblings, Daniel, Robert Simerson, Leroy Pollitt, Donald, Merritt Burright, Marion Kaleas, Roberta Simerson and Jane Herrington.

He is survived by: his wife Joanne Wright of Adams, WI; his children, Tammy Zumwalt (Jason Mounts) of Beloit, WI and Todd Simerson (Jackie) of Mount Hope, WI; his sisters, Lila Barton and Marge Putman; his grandchildren, Zackary Zumwalt (Ruby Bailey) of Janesville, WI, Kobe White of Beloit, Jaley Yttrie of Beloit, Joslynn Simerson and Emery Simerson of Mount Hope; his great grandchild Jaystin Zumwalt of Janesville; and his friend Mel Plantenberg.

Burial will follow with military honors performed by the Portage Veterans Honor Guard at the Silver lake Cemetery in Portage, WI Covid 19 guidelines will be followed.

Larry..We've had the honor of being friends/nieghbors of this family for 20 years.They are truly good people.I hope the familys' grief will soon be healed knowing Larry is in no pain or suffering any longer and he will see them all again some day with-out his illness.
