He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Dorathy Dowden and David L. Dowden; his friend John Lichtenberg; his wife Nancy; his daughters, Ashley Noelke (Joseph) of Rochester and Amanda Johnson (Aaron) of DeForest; his grandchildren, Vincent, Charles Noelke, Alexia and Aiden Johnson; his siblings, Denise Riese (Randy) of Monroe, Lynn Novak (Ron Krupke) of Albany, Dorathy Williams (Griff) of Wausau, Dan Dowden (Kathy) of Walworth and Don Dowden (Svetlana) of Spring; his parents-in-law, Charles and Elma Nichols of Friendship; and his sisters-in-law, Pat Landon (Les) of Friendship, Peggy Willis (Scott) of Friendship and Norma Abbott (Rick) of Stevens Point. He was also cherished by many nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives, coworkers, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Pancreatic Cancer Action Network (PANCAN) or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
