He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Anna Theresa (Wasmuth) and Charles Jakel; his granddaughters, Mary Parker, Christine Wathke, Dr. Leah Hover-Preiss and Dayle Rhinehart; his great grandchildren, Teresa, Adalyn, Emma, Aiden and Harper; his daughter-in-law Mavis; his siblings, Arnold, Elmer, Elaine, Lucille, Carl, Bob, Dennis and Beatrice; and his parents-in-law, Clara, Louis Hirt, Lester Hirt, Patty George, Bernice Jakel, Willis Duncan, Joan and Robert Ness. He was also cherished by his wife, four children, four granddaughters, five great-grandchildren.
