He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Yurek and Mary Yurek; his siblings, Carol Pierret and Jerome Yurek; his brothers-in-law, Jack Nagel and Brian Pierret; his nephews, Joel Yurek, Daniel E. Veraghen and Daniel Yurek Jr.; his great-nephew Damien Veraghen; his niece April Veraghen; his father-in-law Don Kabacinski; and his brother-in-law Mark Kabacinski (Rhonda).

He is survived by: his wife Mary Jo; his siblings, Joseph Yurek (Stephanie), Daniel Yurek (Darlene), Rose Pirlott (Roland), Jean Veraghen (Dan), Robert Yurek (Debbie), Kenneth Yurek (Celeste), James Yurek, Tina Nagel and Lori Yurek (Scott Vander Sande); his sister-in-law Sue Pierret; his pets, Tankster and Frankie; his mother-in-law Rose Kabacinksi; and his siblings-in-law, Bruce Kabacinski, Todd Kabacinski (Sue), Jeff Kabacinski, Susan Cota (Terry) and Sandra Haefer. He is also survived by his 11 brothers and sisters, nieces, and nephews, many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and nephews.
