He is survived by: his close friend Penny Croghan; his children, Debbie Smits (Chuck) of Green Bay, Joannie Lauer (Bob) of Wrightstown and Bill Tews (Susan) of De Pere; his grandchildren, Jason Smits (Amber), Brian Smits, Ashley Smits, Jon Tews, Tyler Tews and Collin Tews; his great grandchildren, Ayden, Sophia, Madelyn, Kaile, McKenzie and Ariana; his brothers, Wayne Tews (Nancy) and Richard Tews; and his sister-in-law Barbara Boettcher (Eugene). He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
