He is survived by: his wife Barbara Zirbel (Koper); his children, Chris Zirbel (Renee), Carla Richmond (Jason) and Laura VanDenBusch (Dan); his stepsiblings, Wesley Miller (Trenie), Lisa Turrittin (Mark), Connie Johnson (Thomas "T. J.") and Edward Miller; and his siblings, Rick Zirbel (Dianne), Ellen Jennerjohn (Ray) and JoAnn Baumann (Dean).
