It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Herbert Weideman (Abbotsford, Wisconsin), who passed away on February 18, 2020, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Weideman and Ottilie Weideman (Sauter); his parents-in-law, Robert and Laura Gierl; his granddaughter Lisa Bakke; his son-in-law Leroy Wisnefske; his siblings, Vivian Ramker (Virgil), Arlene, Mae Harder (Norbert), Joyce, Arthur (Lydia), Harvey (Marianne) and James; and his brother-in-law Morris Gierl (Caroline).
He is survived by: his wife Helen Gierl of Abbotsford; his children, Karen Bakke (Robert) of Abbotsford, Robert James (Janice) of Curtiss, Jane Wisnefske Borchardt (George Borchardt) of Clintonville, Rita Mueller Wausau (William), Richard, Robin (Julia) of Curtiss, Lois Lawrence (Larry) of McKinney, TX, Lana Fitzmaurice (Jeff) of Neillsville and Ronald of Arlington, TX; and his grandchildren, Danny, Lori, Dennis, Debbie Bakke, Mary, Linda, Patty, Robert E., James, Joan Weideman, Wade, Wyatt Wisnefske, Sarah, Matthew Mueller, Nathaniel and Emily Lawrence. He is also survived by 29 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be directed to St. Paul's Lutheran Church handicap ramp project.
