He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Elsie Irene Benjegerdes; his children, Janine Johnson (LeRoy) of Owen and Joel (Karen); his grandchildren, Aimee Haakenson (Travis) of Medford, Tyler Johnson (Ailea) of Batesville, AK, Julie Benjegerdes-Collins (Brian) of Gatesville, Katie Benjegerdes-Homan (Garrett) of Belton, TX and Megan Benjegerdes-Wiegreffe (Wesley) of Fort Worth, TX.; and his great grandchild Aspen. He was also cherished by five great grandchildren and one great-great grandson.
