She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph and Etel Klettner (Fejes); her husband Archie D. Melvin; her daughter Lillian; her son-in-law Duane Umlauft; her sisters, Goldie Caridie (Frances), Theresa Klettner, Alice Klettner and Bernadine Grinnell; her grandson Daniel Umlauft; and her parents-in-law, Lorretta German (Harley), Margaret Weideman (Henry), Elizabeth Hempfner, Frances Melvin (Ruth), Genevieve Gasch (Roland), William Melvin (Margaret) and Charlotte Melvin.
She is survived by: her aunt Teri; her children, Delores Umlauft of Sherwood, Donald Melvin of Abbotsford and Dennis Melvin (Annette) of West Bend; her grandchildren, Darin Umlauft (Debra), Dean Umlauft (Deborah), Denise Umlauft, Angela Melvin, Amy Merrill (Pat), Matthew Melvin (Anna) and Erin Melvin; and her great grandchildren, Brett Umlauft, Korinne Umlauft, Andrew Umlauft, Elena Umlauft, Jacob Merrill, Elizabeth Merrill and Kyra Merrill. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
The family requires those in attendance to abide by the Covid-19 guidelines by wearing a mask, sanitize and practice social distance.
In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the American Red Cross or the Wounded Warrior Project.
